This Holiday Season, Give the Gift that Gives Back!
Your gift can help kids in your community like Marco, who need support with therapy. As a parent of a child who uses the services at the Children’s Treatment Centre of Chatham-Kent (CTC-CK), we are grateful to donors like you.
Our son Marco is a fun-loving 10-year-old whose personality lights up a room. People are instantly drawn to him. He is kind and loving and talks to everyone. He is also a member of the CTC-CK family.
Prior to birth, Marco was diagnosed with Down Syndrome. He started his journey at the CTC-CK when he was 3 months old. He was able to benefit from multiple services including occupational, speech, music, and recreational therapies. Now, basketball, baseball and swimming are a few of his favourite things to do actively on his own.
The CTC-CK is our second family.Marco is part of a team where he is always treated the same. Nothing has ever slowed him down. Through the activities at the CTC-CK, he continues to build his social skills and confidence to try new things. He has built lifelong friendships.
With your donation, our kids find joy in life.
YOU can help our families NOW more than ever get the services and therapies that our kids need.
Through the staff at the CTC-CK, we have received the support needed for our family. It is always a good feeling, as a parent of a child with special needs, to know that you have someone there to guide you. We would have been lost without their support. All kids deserve to grow and thrive in an inclusive, safe, and fun space.
Not all services at the Children’s Treatment Centre CTC-CK are covered by government funding, that’s where the Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation (CTC Foundation) steps in. Your donation will go towards programs like Social Work, Therapeutic Recreation Services (including pool programs) and Music Therapy, which are all funded by the CTC Foundation.
To make a donation to the Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation please complete the online donation form, or call 519-354-0520 ext 266.
