(CHATHAM-KENT) – The Children’s Treatment Centre of Chatham-Kent (CTC-CK) is pleased to announce that Colliers Project Leaders (Colliers) have accepted the role as the Project Management Lead for the new CTC-CK Capital Building Project.
“Our goal is to advance our progress in building a new children’s treatment centre for the children and families of Chatham-Kent. Throughout this journey, we have been humbled by the exceptional support from the community, donors, our Foundation, the Board of Directors, the Ministry and Provincial government and all our partners. To ensure this project continues to move forward, it is important that we have a strong team of individuals working with us, says Donna Litwin-Makey, Executive Director of the Children’s Treatment Centre of Chatham-Kent. “Adding a project manager to our team enables us to have a strong project plan in place and fulfill our commitment to the community.”
Colliers has an expert team of experienced project mangers, with proven ability to drive success. They bring experience and knowledge to the table, having successfully managed other Children Treatment Centre capital projects from the initial functional program stage through to construction, completion, and occupancy. The team is well-versed in Ministry application processes, government relations, financial modeling/analysis, and operational readiness.
Colliers has a solid presence in Southwestern Ontario, operating out of London, Ontario and delivering projects in the Chatham-Kent area as well as Windsor, Essex, Lakeshore, and Sarnia. They have built strong relationships with design teams, contractors, and city planning and building departments, and value the contribution of local contractors.
Angela Strazzeri, Project Manager Lead says “This is an exciting project for Chatham-Kent, and with this comes great expectations from the community, children and youth, their families, staff and the public for a successful delivery of the project. Colliers is delighted to be the partner who helps make this happen!”
This new building will ensure we can provide services and programs in Chatham-Kent for children and youth with physical, communication and developmental needs. As we move through each step of planning, we will continue to engage staff, clients, families and the Chatham-Kent community.
