On Sunday, June 22, 2025, hundreds of people came together at Rondeau Provincial Park for the third annual Run for the Kids, raising an incredible $120,000 in support of the Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation of Chatham-Kent.

From toddlers to grandparents, participants ran, walked, and moved their way through the scenic trails—united by a shared goal: helping children and youth in our community who are living with physical, developmental, and communication needs.

A Day Filled with Fun, Movement, and Community Spirit

The event featured:

• A 200-Metre Kids Dash
• An inclusive 5KM walk/run/move
• Family-friendly activities including crafts, face painting, BBQ hot dogs, and interactive stations from CK Play Rangers, CK Racquet Centre, Rondeau Park, and Lally Auto Group

Impact That Stays Local

Proceeds from Run for the Kids go directly toward vital, non-government funded programs at the Children’s Treatment Centre, including, Social Work, Therapeutic Recreation Services and Music Therapy.

These services play a critical role in the health, development, and quality of life for children and families in Chatham-Kent.
