Join us for the fourth annual RUN FOR THE KIDS on Sunday, June 14, 2026


Join the Children's Treatment Centre (CTC) Foundation of Chatham-Kent for the fourth annual Run for the Kids run/walk/move in Rondeau Provincial Park! Get active, move your body and enjoy the beauty of nature while raising important funds for the CTC Foundation!

Date: Sunday, June 14, 2026
Location: Rondeau Provincial Park
Time: 8:30AM Registration Opens, 10:00AM 200m Kids Fun Race followed by 5km Race

Run for the Kids is a family friendly event, with a paved 200m and 5km route accessible for strollers, wheelchairs and wagons. This event is open to participants of all ages and abilities - join us to walk, run or move through Rondeau Provincial Park.

Run for the Kids features:

  • A 200-Metre Kids Dash
  • An inclusive 5KM walk/run/move
  • Family-friendly activities including crafts, face painting, BBQ hot dogs, and interactive stations from local partners

Join us!

  • Step 1: Register as an individual or a team.
  • Step 2: Set a fundraising goal and share it with your friends.
  • Step 3: Get training! Visit one of Chatham-Kent's many beautiful trails (or your own street!) and start moving to get read for race day.
  • Step 4: Join us on Sunday, June 14, 2026 in Rondeau Provincial Park to pick up your race kit and run/walk/move your race.
  • Step 5: Tag us on social media as you train and on race day, tagging @ctcfoundationck and #CTCRunForTheKids.

With your registration, you will receive:

  • Free entrance into Rondeau Provincial Park
  • Race bib & finisher medal
  • 2026 Race Buff
  • On course aid stations with snacks, water and music
  • Post run party filled with hot dog BBQ, snacks, music and family-friendly activities
  • A timed race result (applicable to 5km run/walk/move participants only)
  • Opportunity to participate in a fun community event in support of our kids!

Impact That Stays Local

Proceeds from Run for the Kids go directly toward vital, non-government funded programs at the Children’s Treatment Centre, including, Social Work, Therapeutic Recreation Services and Music Therapy.

These services play a critical role in the health, development, and quality of life for children and families in Chatham-Kent.

Looking Back at Past Runs for the Kids:

As we reflect on the success of our past events, we are proud to celebrate the tremendous impact the Run for the Kids has had over the past two years. Held at Rondeau Provincial Park, the event has brought together participants of all ages and abilities who ran, walked, or moved either a 200m or 5km distance. Each kilometer represented a step toward supporting local kids and families, and the overwhelming support from the community made it a truly heartwarming and unforgettable day.

Raising awareness and funds for the
Children's Treatment Centre of Chatham-Kent.

Funds raised by the CTC-CK Foundation directly supports therapy and services that our children and youth so richly deserve.

Support from the community for the Children’s Treatment Centre and Foundation will help ensure that the Centre can continue providing specialized care and therapy to the children in Chatham-Kent, so that children of all abilities can reach their full potential.
