CHATHAM, ON, February 15, 2024 – The Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation of Chatham-Kent (CTC Foundation) is thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of its holiday campaign, which has significantly surpassed its goals, raising an astounding total of $62,215. This achievement was made possible through the overwhelming support of the community, and notably, a matching program initiated by generous Board members Carson Warrener and Kevin Owen.
Launched on December 4, 2023, with the heartwarming story of 4-year-old Jameson, the campaign aimed to double the impact of donations through a matching initiative, for the first $10,000 contributed by December 31, 2023. Special thanks were extended to the Board members Warrener and Owen, whose commitment to matching donations played a pivotal role in the campaign’s success. The community’s response was nothing short of remarkable, demonstrating profound generosity and commitment to making a difference in the lives of children like Jameson.
Mike Genge, President of the Foundation, expressed his heartfelt gratitude, “We are immensely grateful for the unwavering support of our community, our dedicated Board members, and everyone who contributed to the success of this campaign. Your generosity has not only met but exceeded our expectations, ensuring that we can continue to provide essential services and support to children and families in need.”
The CTC Foundation remains dedicated to transforming the lives of children with special needs and their families. The funds raised during this campaign will directly support the Children’s Treatment Centre of Chatham-Kent in the areas that the CTC Foundation directly supports, including social work, therapeutic recreation and music therapy and ensure that more children and families have access to the support they need.
