Mother's Day Campaign.

This Mother’s Day, shine a light on
exceptional children like Stasyia.
Make an impact, give today!

“Imagine the difference we can make together. Stasyia’s journey of recovery and growth, her current joys and future prospects, have been shaped by the generosity of people like you. It’s about giving children the chance to live their best lives.” - Cori-Anne, Stasyia’s mom

Meet 12-year old Stasyia.

Diagnosed with Down Syndrome and later facing the challenges of an acquired brain injury, Stasyia has shown us the true meaning of resilience and joy. With a passion for swimming that rivals any fish, she also possesses a unique blend of eloquence, helpfulness, humour, and a dash of delightful stubbornness.

The CTC staff are truly wonderful.
Our journey with the Children’s Treatment Centre (CTC) started shortly after Stasyia was born, and it has been our beacon of hope ever since. The CTC has not just been a place for therapy; it has been our extended family. From services including Occupational, Physiotherapy, Speech, and Recreational Therapies, to the uplifting sessions of Music Therapy, every step has been about discovering Stasyia’s potential and nurturing it.

We found a community of support.
But it’s not just Stasyia who has found support and growth; as a family, we’ve been embraced by a community that understands our journey. The CTC’s programs, including the Parent Support Group and activities designed for the entire family, have been invaluable. They have taught us to see beyond the diagnosis, to fight for moments of joy and triumph in the midst of challenges.

Most dear to my heart is the CTC’s support for siblings; ensuring they are supported and included, is very important to our family. Our youngest, Marika, has learned to be an advocate for her sister, understanding her world with empathy and courage. It’s a testament to the Centre’s approach to working together.

Please Donate!
This Mother’s Day, I ask you to join us in supporting the CTC. Your donation can help illuminate the path for children like Stasyia, offering them the therapies and programs that enable them to dance, to speak, to swim, and most importantly, to thrive.

We thank you.
For giving Stasyia and other kids and their families a life of options, choices and abilities.
Cori-Anne, Stasyia, Marika and Jeffrey

Every Gift Makes an Impact for the Kids

Your donation to the CTC Foundation's Mother's Day campaign will be used to offer important therapy for children with special needs in our community. More than 1 in 5 children in Chatham-Kent benefiting from Children's Treatment Centre services. We never stop building programs to help children who need us.

Last year, we helped over 4,400 families of children with special needs.
If a child needs physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy or testing and assistance with hearing…we are here to help.

And let's not forget dance and music therapy!
When a child who is limited by physical challenges experiences the special delights of music and dance, there is no greater joy. These therapies are specially funded only by money raised by the CTC Foundation.

Please give what you can to help local kids with special needs.
Mothers, Fathers, Grandparents and Caregivers who see every type of CTC therapy that help their child enjoy life more thank you, too.
