CTC- Foundation Launches Mother’s Day Appeal
in support of the Children’s Treatment Centre

(CHATHAM, ONTARIO) – Monday, April 25 the Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation launched their Mother’s Day appeal, in support of the Children’s Treatment Centre of Chatham-Kent. Donations towards this campaign will be used to offer important therapy for children with special needs within Chatham-Kent.

“As a mom, I will never give up on Kevin. And either will the Children’s Treatment Centre.” Margaret Fast, parent of client at the CTC-CK. “With the help of the very special people at the CTC-CK, Kevin learned to roll over, sit and eventually crawl. It wasn’t easy for him, but they never gave up on him. More importantly, he never gave up.

Like Margaret, many mothers of children with special needs require extra help and they turn to the Children’s Treatment Centre. The CTC-CK has been helping local families for over 70 years. In recent years, the number of children needing CTC-CK services has increased dramatically with 1 in 5 kids in Chatham-Kent using services provided by the Centre.

“This Mother’s Day, you can help local mothers and children by donating to the Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation” states Mike Genge, President. “Your donation will help other mom’s access special therapy for their precious children.”

The Mother’s Day appeal will run from April 25 until May 20. More information can be found on here.
