Golf for the Kids raises $76,000 for the CTC Foundation

CHATHAM, ONTARIO –  The seventh annual Golf for the Kids event has raised $76,000 to support the Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation on September 8, 2023.

As one of the Foundation’s key fundraisers, Golf for the Kids attracted golfers from across the province this year for the Highland Games themed event. Guests enjoyed 18 holes of golf, traditional Highland Games (with a twist!), Scottish food, amazing music and a variety of drink stations – including an inflatable pub!

“We are very grateful to the sponsors, golfers and volunteers who returned to support this fun event. Including our lead sponsor Intact Insurance and JMHI Insurance Group.” Mike Genge, Foundation President. “Funds raised from Golf for the Kids will go towards programming and services that our kids need and use every day.”

Proceeds from the event directly support therapy and services for children and youth, including social work, therapeutic recreation, and music therapy.

Following the day of golf, the Foundation handed out 13 incredible doors prizes including Ferris Bueller autographed poster, golf attire from Ford & McIntyre and a Traeger BBQ. This year’s Grand Prize $25,000 winner was Clint S. of Guelph. The winning team for the day was from Windmill Cabinets.
