INAUGURAL BOCCIA FOR THE KIDS RAISES $35,000
On Saturday, November 15, 2025, teams from across the region gathered at the John D. Bradley Convention Centre for Boccia for the Kids, raising an outstanding $35,000 in support of the Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation of Chatham-Kent.
Players of all abilities, from first-time participants to seasoned competitors, took to the courts with a shared purpose: supporting local children and youth living with physical, developmental, and communication needs.
A Day of Inclusive Play, Teamwork, and Community Support
The event featured a round-robin boccia tournament open to players of all experience levels with demonstrations and guidance from trained officials. Participants and spectators also had the opportunity to enjoy family-friendly activities, an exciting raffle, delicious snacks, and a welcoming atmosphere focused on accessibility, fun, and connection.
