Join us Saturday, November 14th 2026 for the 2nd Annual Boccia for the Kids at the John D. Bradley Centre in Chatham!
This fall, join us for a one-of-a-kind sporting celebration that blends inclusive competition with big-hearted community spirit - Boccia for the Kids, in support of the Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation of Chatham-Kent!
On November 14, 2026, we’ll draw up the courts and bring the heat as teams of players, including local businesses, organizations, CTC families, and supporters, face off in a friendly Boccia tournament (pronounced bot-cha). Often compared to lawn bowling or curling, Boccia is a precision sport designed to be accessible to all abilities and is a global Paralympic event.

Event Details:
- Date: Saturday, November 14th, 2026
- Location: John D. Bradley Convention Centre
- Registration Fee: $80/person, 2 people per team (all ages and abilities welcome!)

- Guaranteed spot in round-robin tournament

- Chance to be awarded the prestigious For the Kids Cup (FTK Cup)
What to expect:
- Team play with heart: Participants compete in teams of 2 in a round-robin tournament - no experience necessary!
- Accessible & inclusive: Everyone can play, regardless of ability, and we’ll have volunteers and adapted equipment ready to support.
- Cheer squad energy: Spectators are welcome! Cheer on your friends, colleagues and community champions from the sidelines (trust us, you'll want to stay for the final showdown!).
- Fun extras: Enjoy music, food, kids activities, photo ops, and the joy of giving back in an atmosphere that’s playful and purposeful!

Funds raised by the CTC-CK Foundation directly supports therapy and services that our children and youth so richly deserve.
Support from the community for the Children’s Treatment Centre and Foundation will help ensure that the Centre can continue providing specialized care and therapy to the children in Chatham-Kent, so that children of all abilities can reach their full potential.
