Smile Cookie Campaign Returns! CTC Foundation to Benefit from Weeklong Fundraiser

CHATHAM, ONTARIO (April 18, 2024) – The Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Campaign is back this year from April 29 to May 5, and we are thrilled to announce that the Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation of Chatham-Kent (CTC Foundation) has been selected as a beneficiary of Chatham, Wallaceburg and Dresden stores. The campaign, known for bringing smiles while supporting charitable causes, will dedicate proceeds from every Smile Cookie sold at local Tim Hortons stores to our cause.

Last year, the Smile Cookie Campaign raised an impressive $69,000 for the CTC Foundation. The efforts of local Tim Hortons owners, the Pritchard family and Mike and Paula Grail, along with the support of over 140 volunteers, contributed significantly to this success. Volunteers from the community, including staff from the Centre and local residents, dedicated their time to bake and decorate over 25,000 Smile Cookies during the week-long campaign.

The Smile Cookie Campaign originally started in 1996 to support the Hamilton Children’s Hospital and has since grown into a significant national fundraising initiative at Tim Hortons locations across Canada. Each year, hundreds of charities, hospitals, and community programs benefit from the funds raised during the campaign.

We invite all community members to visit Tim Hortons locations in Chatham, Wallaceburg and Dresden from April 29 to May 5 to purchase a Smile Cookie for $1.50. Your contributions will directly support our ongoing efforts to provide valuable programs and services. The funds raised during Smile Cookie Week are vital for the CTC Foundation to continue providing essential services and programs that we directly fund like social work, therapeutic recreation and music therapy. Together, we can make a significant impact and spread countless smiles across our community.
