Meet Easton: Silly. Joyful. Unstoppable.

When you meet 6-year old Easton, it’s hard not to smile.
Full of laughter and movement, he loves spinning, jumping, and running. Diagnosed with Level 3 autism at just two years old, Easton is nonverbal — but communicates joy in his own incredible ways.
“He’s the happiest, funniest little boy you’ll ever meet,” says Easton's mom, Hailey, with a smile. “He doesn’t let anything hold him back.”
When he was only 6 weeks old, Easton and his family began visiting the CTC-CK. From early hearing tests to physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and even music and dance programs, the CTC-CK has been part of nearly every chapter of Easton's growth.
Supporting every move.
When balance issues made it hard for Easton to stay steady on his feet, the CTC-CK’s physiotherapy team designed custom braces to support his mobility—making a world of difference. Today, Easton walks confidently… and even dances!

“Without the Centre, I don’t know where we’d be. They’ve been there for everything. They’re our village.”

A place where every child belongs
Beyond therapy, the Centre has given Easton experiences that other children may take for granted. Halloween and Christmas events at CTC-CK provide sensory-friendly celebrations where Easton can participate without fear of being overwhelmed. Last Halloween, he pressed his communication button to say “trick or treat” for the first time — a huge milestone!
"It’s the one place where he’s never left out,” his mom says. “When we walk in, everyone knows him. I can relax because I know he’s safe.”
For Easton and his family, CTC-CK isn’t just a place for therapy — it’s a second home, a community, and a lifeline made possible through your generous donations.
