GoodLife Kids Foundation Supports Adapted Swim Program

On December 16, the GoodLife Kids Foundation presented the Children’s Treatment Centre and Foundation with a cheque for $10,000 in support of its Adapted Swim Program.

The Children’s Treatment Centre’s Adapted Swim Program is open to all CTC clients, age 3 through 21, who have physical, developmental or communication challenges. The program addresses and builds on a variety of skills and abilities including recreation and physical activity, pool safety and awareness, basic swimming skills, transition skills, communication and social skills. Most importantly, the skills learned in the CTC’s Adapted Swim Program are transferable to other physical activity and recreation programs outside of the Centre, helping the children in our community to live healthy, active lives.

The London, Ontario-based GoodLife Kids Foundation supports organizations and programs that provide opportunities for sustainable physical activity for children, and remove barriers that prevent children from living a healthy life. The GoodLife Kids Foundation has donated over $20,000 to the CTC Foundation to date, in support of creating opportunities for physical activity for the children in our community.

The Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation is grateful to be partnered with an organization, like the GoodLife Kids Foundation, that shares its passion for the health and wellness of children.
