(CHATHAM, ONTARIO) – The Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation of Chatham-Kent (CTC Foundation) is calling on the community to join its new Butterfly League, a monthly giving program that directly supports children and youth with physical, developmental, and communication challenges.
On October 7, the Foundation held a special launch event with staff, board members, and early supporters to introduce the Butterfly League and celebrate its founding members — a group of community champions committed to helping local children grow and thrive.
Every month, 1 in 5 local children and families rely on programs and services at the Children’s Treatment Centre. Some programs are not funded by the government. These essential programs, including music therapy, recreation therapy, and social work, are made possible through the support of the Foundation and its donors, helping children develop essential life skills, build confidence, and thrive in their daily lives.
“Our children face unique challenges every day, and the Butterfly League gives our community a way to make a real, ongoing difference,” said Mike Genge, President & CEO of the Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation of Chatham-Kent. “Monthly donations provide reliable support that allows us to plan ahead, provide programs, and ensure every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.”
By joining the Butterfly League, donors provide consistent, meaningful support that stays in Chatham-Kent. Contributions, big or small, ensure that children continue to receive therapies that strengthen their physical, social, and emotional development.
Why Join:
- Reliable support: Monthly donations allow the Foundation to plan and grow programs with confidence.
- Direct impact: Every dollar goes to programs supporting local children.
- Community connection: Be part of a dedicated group of supporters making a tangible difference.
